This project is a perfect introduction to coat making: a sculptural silhouette fully lined with no closure.
Select your preferred size and color, and your pattern pieces will be prepared for sewing, already cut, labeled, and interfaced! By the end of the session, you'll leave with your completed project.
You’ll learn:
How to manipulate and sew wool
How to line a coat
How to sew with silk
How to sew facings
Choose between the long or short version, with cropped or full-length sleeves.
$550 for a 2 days workshop, including machine, notions, and fabric cut to size, ready to sew!
Important note: You must know how to operate a sewing machine, thread it, and sew a straight stitch to sign up for this workshop. If you never sewed before, check our Module 1 class or schedule a private lesson.
The Green fabric has a body and will result in a structured Nova coat.
The Grey fabric is less heavy, with a drape, and will result in a more fluid coat.
