Bookings
All bookings must be paid in advance of the start date. Your place on the course can only be guaranteed once full payment is received. If you wish to join a class less than 24 hours before the start, please contact us first by emailing workshops@studio-sessions.com, and we will do our best to fit you in (subject to availability).
Group classes, private lessons, capsule wardrobe sessions, and workshops are not refundable. If you are unable to attend, please email workshops@studio-sessions.com
Group classes and private lessons
Group Classes
If you can't attend your group class, please inform us as soon as possible.
Non-attendance of classes due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds or transfers. However, you can reschedule for another session (subject to a fee).
Rescheduled sessions are subject to a fee: $22 for Module 1 & 2, and $32 for Module 3 and up.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund or credit, or rescheduling.

Private Lessons
If you cannot attend your private lesson, please inform us as soon as possible.
Payment for private lessons is due at the time of booking. You have 48 hours to make the payment; after that, the slot is no longer guaranteed.
Private lessons are non-refundable.
Non-attendance of private lessons due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds or transfers. However, we will try to offer you another date.
Private lessons canceled 48 hours (or less) before the appointment time is subject to a $30 rescheduling fee.
Workshops
Due to the unique nature of the class, workshops are not refundable. You may send someone to take your place. In that case, email workshops@studio-sessions.com to inform us of the name change.
Minimum class numbers
We require at least four students to be booked for any class to proceed with this class/workshop (2 for kids classes). We may choose to run a course with fewer bookings, but we reserve the right to reschedule undersubscribed classes.
Cancellations by us
If a class/workshop must be canceled or postponed due to unavoidable circumstances or a class is undersubscribed, we will give you a minimum of 24 hours notice. We will be an alternative date or credit for the same money amount or a refund of your payment. We will not be liable for any other costs, wasted travel, or expenses that may incur.
Class postponement
If a class has to be postponed (instructor illness, shop closure...) we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class or to add the missed hours onto the remaining course.
Student ability
Studio Sessions reserves the right to move students from a class if their sewing ability or technical sewing competence is not at the required level. In such a case, we would move the student to a class more suited to their current sewing level.
Student conduct
Studio Sessions requires students to conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times. Substantial obstruction, or improper interference with the functions, duties, or activities of any student or member of staff will result in the student being asked to leave the class. We will not tolerate violent, indecent, disorderly, threatening, intimidating, or offensive behavior or language toward staff or other students. Any such action will result in the student being asked to leave the class. We also reserve the right to cancel attendance in other classes.
Student health & safety
Students must wear appropriate clothing and footwear to practical classes and use sharp tools safely and carefully. Students who fail to comply with health and safety rules cannot participate in practical classes.
